Best Anti Aging Tips

Best Anti Aging Tips: Wish you had younger looking skin? Aging can change skin’s appearance. You can’t control certain factors like genetics, but there are also plenty of external influences on how your skin ages. The right anti-aging care can slow down the aging process. Here are some of the anti aging tips that I follow.

Eat more healthy fats

Omega-3 fatty acids can keep you full, help your body absorb essential vitamins, and have been linked to reduced risk of cardiovascular disease. Omega-3 fatty acids also have anti aging properties that promote smoother, younger-looking skin by reducing inflammatory skin conditions. The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends eating (particularly fatty, cold-water fish) at least twice a week. Salmon, mackerel, herring, sardines, lake trout, and tuna are especially high in omega-3 fatty acids. While whole foods are the best way for getting omega-3s in your diet, fish oil supplements are also available. The health benefits of regular doses of fish oil supplements are unclear, so talk to your doctor to see if they’re right for you.  I eat fish at least twice a week and I also supplement with Nutru Omega Zen Vegan formula once or twice a week.

Sugar

Sugar can take a toll on your skin so cut back on processed and refined sugar. When you consume sugar, it reacts with amino acids which leads to the formation of a complex group of compounds called Advanced Glycation End products (AGEs). Glycation is one of the major molecular mechanisms where damage accrues in your body, which over a period of time can lead to disease and aging.

Exercise regularly

Exercise has anti aging benefits that can make you years younger at the cellular level. So exercise regularly to help you look and feel younger.

Manage your stress

Stress and stress-associated hormones have aging effects. So take time to slow down, go for a walk, mediate daily and take deep breaths during the day to alleviate stress.

Get enough sleep

Your body repairs and recovers while you sleep. A good nights sleep leads to a long list of benefits for your looks. The key is to get seven to nine quality hours each night. Your skin benefits from sleep as it allows the body to naturally repair itself. During the deepest stage of rest, right before the REM sleep, your body hits its peak for releasing growth hormones that are vital for your body to repair cells and tissue.

Moisturize

Daily moisturizing is vital for healthy skin. The human skin is the body’s largest organ so it requires regular attention to stay young, and healthy. Regular use of lotion and moisturizer should be a part of any good skin care regimen. Use moisturizers that are oil free, won’t clog pores and are allergy and dermatologist tested. The most important times to use moisturizer is after a shower because hot water strips moisture and oils out of your skin, leaving it parched and dry. The skin on your face, ears, neck and chest are very sensitive to environmental changes and also shed cells more rapidly than other parts of the body. Therefore, they need moisture to repair itself, which allows for younger skin cells to rise to the surface. Epicuren Discovery Evening Emulsion Enzyme Moisturizer was recommend by my esthetician to be used every night after I cleanse my face.

Exfoliate

Exfoliation is the easiest method to rapidly restore a youthful appearance to the skin. As skin matures, it becomes dull and lifeless. This is because of excessive build-up of dead skin cells and loss of skin moisture which can prematurely age one’s face. Sun damage can also create an uneven, blotchy skin tone that can add a decade or more to one’s appearance. So make sure you use proper sunscreen to protect your skin. I get a facial once a month and I also use Epicuren Discovery Pumpkin Apple Spice Peel recommended by my esthetician once or twice a week to remove excessive build-up of dead skin. The SOLO Mio Sonic Face Cleanser and Massager Brush is produces high frequency sonic pulses that allow the removal of dirt, oils and makeup residues. The low-frequency pulses boosts blood circulation in wrinkle-prone areas, increasing the production of collagen to restore the skin’s firmness and elasticity. I use this on a daily basis to promote healthy blood flow.

Drink plenty of water

When toxins and waste products accumulate in our cells, the cells deteriorate or even die. As these tissue cells die, the skin sags, and hair can fall out. Water takes the toxins and carbon dioxide out and carries vital nutrients in, which is why water is key for anti-aging. According to the U.S. Institute of Medicine, the general recommended amounts for daily water consumption, including from beverages and food, are 2.7 liters (91 ounces) for women and 3.7 liters (125 ounces) for men. Drink water when you are thirsty. Try to avoid drinking from plastic water bottles as harmful chemicals from the water bottle have the potential to leach into the water. Instead, drink out of glass containers. I usually fill up a Luminarc Quadro 1.7 Liter pitcher with water and finish it by the end of the day to make sure that I’m drinkin

g enough water each day.

Load up on vitamin C

Adding vitamin C to your daily routine provides a range of benefits, from creating a more even skin tone to shielding skin from the visible impacts of pollution. It also significantly improves hydration, and keeps your skin looking younger longer! Epicuren Discovery Cxc Vitamin C Complex was also recommended by my esthetician, I use it most mornings as part of my morning routine. CXᶜ Vitamin C Complex is a powerful formulation which utilizes a concert of advanced oil and water soluble vitamin C complexes in a moisturizing base of Triglycerides and Shea Butter. These age-fighting vitamin C complexes work synergistically to provide immediate and long-term antioxidant protection and diminish the appearance of dark spots. This advanced vitamin C blend provides immediate and long-term antioxidant protection, reduces visible signs of aging and improves the complexion’s overall radiance. The product also supports collagen production and fades the appearance of hyper-pigmentation.

Sleep on your back

Sleeping on your side could be causing lines to form on the cheek that’s constantly pressed against the pillow. So try sleeping on your back.

Collagen for anti aging

Seventy percent of our skin is made from collagen. Collagen in the skin is the main component of the dermis, the layer that gives our skin elasticity and flexibility. Exposure to UV rays over a period of time furthers this depletion, which can lead to wrinkles, dryness, and saggy skin. Research shows oral collagen protein supplementation may help in firming the skin, as well as reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles. It also helps build connective tissue in hair, skin, and nails. Great Lakes Gelatin is the cold water soluble, rapid absorption oral supplement that I use once or twice a week. It’s a Bio-active product containing 90 percent protein.  This low molecular weight protein is easily digested for healthy enrichment in minutes after ingestion.

Enzymes

Enzymes are found in every cell in our body where they help our body carry out thousands of biological functions.  Topical enzymes rejuvenates the appearance of the skin from the inside out. I use Epicuren Discovery Enzyme Concentrate Vitamin Protein Complex along with Epicuren Discovery Skin Conditioner Enzyme Toner that was recommended by my esthetician. Its a highly concentrated liquid, rich in vitamins and protein nutrients, which helps to improve the appearance of skin elasticity, color tone, and overall health of the skin. I was asked not to use it too often until my skin gets used to it as it can tighten the skin too much so I use it once or twice a week and I’ve noticed a visible difference in my skins elasticity.
